SCHEDULE: Departure from Athens, crossing Thebes along National Highway, Leivadia (short stop) and Arahova. Arrival in Delphi- a visit to the Archaeological Museum with the fascinating artefacts, including the world know statue of the Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, the statue of Antinous and the «Navel» of the Earth. A walk in the magnificent Ancient Altar of Apollo follows. Then lunch and return to Athens with a short stop at the picturesque, mountainous village of Arahova built in the southern slope of Parnassos Mountain, know for its beautiful handmade carpets and bedcovers as well as its wine and cheese.
